Athlete of the Month

January:
Babar:
Babar is a young dog and all speed. He spent the summer on the Denver Glacier
with Peter doing tours for Alaska Icefield Expeditions. He never seems to tire
and is always excited to go. His mother is Jersey, sister to Angus, and his
father is Shredder. It is a joy to see him develop into a true athlete.
December:

Angus:
Angus is an Iditarod finisher and an all around good dog. He is fast as can be
and eats everything in sight. He is always happy and his infectious attitude is
contagious to other dogs. A great cheerleader and a joy to run. We look forward
to him finishing again this year.
November:
Worsely:
Worsely is also starting to be a new leader. He is a tough dog that we always
expected to be a team member, but we had no idea he would be such a good leader.
He is also faster than we had expected him to be. He is a real hard worker, but
speed doesn't seem to bother him. We are looking forward to him being a real
asset to the team no matter what position he is running in.
October:
Gannon:
Gannon is starting to take some responsibility in lead this year. She is fast as
can be and just starting to be the decision maker. She is a little girl with a
lot of attitude. Watch for her in the race teams. We hope she will continue to
be a great leader.
